2008 NASCAR Results 2008 NASCAR Teams 2008 NASCAR Forums To start your drivers, you need to post them here. 2008 NASCAR Rules
  • Each week you are required to start 3 drivers.
  • All lineups must be entered 10 minutes before start of the race.
  • To change your lineup simply post on the forum board (http://www.ultimatedoubleplay.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=4) your starting lineup.
  • If you do not change your lineup each week you do not need to post your lineup each week on the forum, it we'll remain the same.
  • No points are awarded for pole.
  • Points follow same point system as NASCAR.
  • Penalty points this year will be deducted away from your team if one of your driver's get caught cheating and points are deducted away from him. No whining about this rule, he cheats it costs your team. However, this does not apply to off the track incidents.
  • In the event only 2 of your drivers qualify for the race you are allowed to pick up one driver that is a free agent for the current race only. Immediately following the race that driver becomes a free agent again.
  • If more then one player needs a temp driver for the weekend whoever has the least amount of points in the standings gets to pick first. The pick must be submitted by 10 am on Saturday after that it's first come first serve.
  • To submit a pick use NASCAR Forum board again.
  • You may not dump guys from your team after qualifying.
  • To add or drop drivers you may submit a request via e-mail to me at lundga@hotmail.com. Submit your request before Wednesday 10 pm and the order of claims will be filled by person with least amount of points getting their claim filled first. On Thursday it becomes first come basis on free agents.
  • You can edit your lineup up until qualifying for race. Once qualifying starts you may not be able to edit your team until after the race.
  • Important to remember*** You own the car # not the driver so watch for this on road courses. Look for your car # it may be a different driver but will still be your car.
  • Trades - trades are allowed and may be submitted via forum board or e-mail. Trades need to be majority committee approved. If the trade is close in driver points no need to dispute it. If you try to trade Jimmy Johnson to someone for Michael Waltrip you are going to have problems.
  • The season is split into two sessions. The first session goes until the Pepsi 400 which concludes the first half.
  • There is no redraft in the second half.
  • Three places are paid out each session. 1st place $240.00 2nd place $120 3rd place $40.
  • Cost to play $80 for entire season.
  • Standings and teams will be posted on www.Ultimatedoubleplay.com
